Maxim Mironov’s album Questo è Rossini!  is dedicated to the composer on the 150th anniversary of his passing. 
       A combination of some of the Maestro’s most significant vocal chamber compositions is presented, exploring the more intimate side of his art. The surprisingly varied styles and emotions of Rossini’s music, from high pathos through pure lyricism to nearly grotesque humour, fully illustrate the extent of the genius of the “Swan of Pesaro”.
Maxim’s tenor voice is accompanied by Rossini expert Richard Barker on a period Pleyel pianoforte completely similar to the one Rossini used himself.
